Avenues for Justice, (Andrew Glover Youth Program) works directly with young people to help them understand, accept responsibility for, gain control of and direct their own lives in a positive, law abiding manner. We provide an alternative to incarceration that works.
The idea is simple. Instead of sending kids to jail, the court sends them to us. We help solve the problems that got the kid into trouble in the first place.
When we do, we solve the real problem and something amazing happens. The kid doesn't get into trouble again and is on the road to a healthy constructive life.
The Capitol Community Fund for Music and Education sends local-area teachers to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s Summer Teacher Institute to receive curriculum training on how to bring music history into classrooms — emphasizing the interplay between popular music and activism. The fund also supports various charities in conjunction with artists performing at The Capitol Theatre, in Post Chester, New York.
The Aiden J. Mike Memorial Campership: Honoring Aiden's Memory, Supporting Youth Mental Wellness.
The Aiden J. Mike Memorial Campership will provide a free, week-long overnight camp experience at Camp Stella Maris each year for two students, one from the Livonia CSD and one from the Honeoye CSD.
Working with school counselors, we will select students between the ages of 10 and 15 who would benefit most from this opportunity. This campership offers a chance for these young people to build resilience, connect with nature, and create lasting memories in a supportive, screen-free environment.
Hospice offers medical care toward a different goal: maintaining or improving the quality of life for someone whose illness, disease, or condition is unlikely to be cured.
Each patient’s individualized care plan is updated as needed to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual pain that often accompanies terminal illness.
Hospice care also offers practical support for the caregiver(s) during the illness and grief support after the death. Hospice is something more that is available to the patient and the entire family when curative measures have been exhausted and the life prognosis is six months or less.
